Document Risk Score ($79, async)
- Before the report is delivered: full refund on request.
- After delivery, within 7 days: refund at sole operator discretion when the report quality clearly did not match what was promised. Document the issue in writing.
- After 7 days from delivery: no refund.
Project engagements (diagnostics + sprints)
- Before kickoff: full refund minus a 5% scheduling reservation fee.
- During the engagement: termination terms are set in the engagement letter on a case-by-case basis. Typically a pro-rata refund of the unworked portion at our discretion, with deliverables produced to date released to you.
- Founder cancels for cause: pro-rata refund of remaining unworked balance and immediate release of all deliverables produced.
Retainers (monthly)
- Retainer fees are billed monthly in advance and are non-refundable for the current month.
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid month. Notify us by email at least 5 business days before month-end to avoid the next month's charge.
- No early-termination penalty. No phone-call-required cancellation. No retention trap.
How to request a refund
- Use the contact form on the home page with "Refund request" in the message, plus the booking ID or invoice number and a brief description.
- We confirm receipt within one business day.
- Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method within 5–10 business days, depending on your card issuer.
Chargebacks
If you initiate a chargeback before contacting us, we will respond to the issuing bank with the booking record, acknowledgment trail, recording metadata, and any deliverables produced. We will also pause your access pending resolution. Please email us first; we resolve refund issues faster than your card issuer can.
What this policy is not
This refund policy governs payments made directly to Clemons Wright. It does not govern relationships with attorneys, CPAs, financial advisors, engineers, architects, brokers, or contractors that you hire separately on our recommendation. Their refund and engagement terms are set by them. See scope of practice.
