Clemons Wright / Engage

How we engage

Three doors. Two custom paths.

Every Clemons Wright engagement begins with one of five paths. Founder-led sessions are operated by Dustin personally — recorded, encrypted, retained for seven years, and protected by a private passcode you receive only after you complete the acknowledgment. Project and retainer engagements are scoped on a follow-up call.

The three founder-led doors

Door 1 · Group · Live

Ask the Founder

$19/ 30 min · up to 6

A small-group conversation where the founder shares lived experience from his five active matters and five operating companies. Format: questions about his story, not yours.

  • Live phone bridge — no app install
  • Monday–Thursday, 6 AM–11 AM Pacific
  • Recorded; communications not privileged
  • Constitutionally protected non-attorney speech (Dacey)
  • Best for: low-cost first touch, lived-experience perspective, learning how the founder thinks before scoping bigger

Door 3 · Async · 24-hour

Document Risk Score (AEGIS)

$79/ 24-hour delivery

Upload a court document, term sheet, demand letter, engagement letter, or contract draft. The AEGIS engine returns a six-dimension risk profile plus similarity score cross-referenced against 1,300+ indexed federal filings.

  • Software-only — no human review
  • Six dimensions: procedural exposure · substantive merit · evidentiary support · deadline risk · opposing-party posture · jurisdictional fit
  • Source PDF auto-deleted within 24 hours of report delivery
  • Software-only document analysis (Janson v. LegalZoom)
  • Same engine the founder uses on his own active matters
Score a document — $79

How the booking flow works. Each booking begins with a scroll-gated seven-checkbox acknowledgment plus a typed e-signature, then either a slot selection (live tiers) or a private document upload (async tier), then a secure card-entry checkout through a trusted payment processor — we never see or store your card. After payment, you receive a confirmation email with a six-digit passcode and the dial-in number. You call in at the scheduled time, the system plays a recorded disclaimer, you enter your passcode, and you are bridged directly to the founder. Calls are recorded, encrypted, and retained seven years on private infrastructure. Refund and cancellation policy is on the terms page.

The two custom paths

Custom

Project engagement

Most client work is bigger than a single session. A diagnostic sprint runs two to six weeks with live dashboards, monetization or workflow redesign, governance templates, operating cadences, and managed implementation. Fixed-fee, milestone-based, with a recorded Get Grilled session inside the engagement.

  • 2-week diagnostic memo — from $4,500 fixed
  • 4–6 week decision or redesign sprint — from $18,000 fixed
  • Pre-investment diligence (PE / family office) — from $14,000 fixed
  • Crisis-only triage (same-day where slots allow) — $250 for 30 minutes

See service-line pages for specific scopes and pricing bands.

Monthly retainer

A monthly seat-at-the-table advisor for litigation-adjacent decisions and operating discipline. Includes scheduled cadence calls, AEGIS scoring as needed, posture coaching, counsel-oversight notes, and live dashboard maintenance.

  • Management consulting retainer — from $6,500 / month
  • Risk-management retainer — from $4,500 / month
  • Reputation retainer — from $5,500 / month
  • Family-company retainer — from $7,500 / month
  • PE portfolio operator coaching — from $5,500 / month

Retainers begin with a paid Get Grilled session followed by a written scope and an engagement letter.
