Snapshot — bottom line up front

Dustin L. Clemons is what an MBB partner would be if MBB partners actually ran companies. Three credentials separate him from every other premium advisor at this price point: he is presently operating seven companies across five distinct industries (hedge funds, technology, entertainment, EdTech, consumer goods, applied AI, and the consulting firm itself); he has filed pro se across the full California state court system — Superior Court, Court of Appeal, California Supreme Court — plus federal trial and the Ninth Circuit; and he has shipped the platforms and software that productize his methodology for clients. Sixteen- plus years of continuous operator leadership.

Current operating posture

Dustin currently operates at the intersection of multiple active business verticals. This is not a résumé of previous employers — these are companies he founded and actively leads. This multi- entity, multi-sector operating posture is the foundation of his consulting authority.

Black Crystalline — new-age hedge fund

Role: Chief Investment Officer & Founder. Black Crystalline operates under the principle of Equal Investment in Progress, hyper-focused on emerging companies and disruptive assets and providing strategic guidance to current and future leaders. The firm operates across three pillars:

  • Disruptive Asset Investing — identifies non-traditional assets before mainstream capital takes notice.
  • Emerging Company Growth — growth capital to companies positioned to scale into dominant players.
  • Strategic Leadership Guidance — capital plus strategic guidance for emerging leaders.

Consulting implication: Dustin sees the full business lifecycle — from early build to capital event — as an allocator from the outside and an operator from the inside.

WareActics Corporation — technology

Role: Chief Executive Officer & Founder. WareActics operates at the frontier of consumer and enterprise technology, spanning software development, product design, and cloud infrastructure. WareActics is also the signing-and-distribution arm that ships CW Leaders Studio to Clemons Wright clients under an Apple-certified developer identity.

Consulting implication: Dustin can advise on product roadmaps, technology stack decisions, SaaS architecture, consumer app strategy, and enterprise software positioning from the CEO chair — not from the side.

Been Raw Catalogs — entertainment production & creative consultancy (since 2010)

Role: President & Founder. Been Raw is an entertainment production company and creative consultancy working with both established and emerging talent. 16+ years at the helm.

Consulting implication: Entertainment is the most relationship-driven, volatility-prone, IP-intensive industry there is. Brand building, negotiation, contract strategy, talent management, licensing, and creative capital all run through it.

Baby Learn Online, Inc. — EdTech

Role: Chief Operating Officer & Co-Founder. Develops interactive iOS applications for infants, toddlers, and young learners. Dustin oversees operations, product development, and platform infrastructure.

Consulting implication: Consumer-facing mobile product, Apple App Store compliance, content standards for a child audience (COPPA, CARU), and the unique intersection of education, technology, and parenting markets.

Mojave 66 — food & beverage franchise

Role: Founder & Pitmaster. California-based F&B franchise specializing in South Carolina BBQ, seasonings, sauces, and fixings.

Consulting implication: Consumer brand building, unit economics, supply chain, licensing structure, and the physical-world complexity of food service.

Agentic Agentic Enterprises — AI platform portfolio

Role: Founder & CEO. Agentic Agentic Enterprises (agentic2x.ai) builds desktop and web tools for people who think visually. Public footprint includes four shipped platforms — Agentic, Data & Source (legal AI), Ansuh (private messaging), Agentic Ancestry (iPhone ancestry intelligence powered by fotosíntesis), and Auntie Root (AI consultation commerce). Agentic Agentic Enterprises develops CW Leaders Studio for Clemons Wright under a development relationship.

Day-to-day at Clemons Wright: two of these platforms are the firm's own operating stack. ADS Law runs a 6.7-million-case research corpus with citation verification against live court records, judge analytics, and contract risk scoring — the same engine class behind the firm's document scoring. CW Leaders Studio is the recording, editing, and hiring environment every engagement runs on. Both are live, shipping products you can use today — not vaporware on a slide.

Consulting implication: Repeatable productization of specialized knowledge — turning hard domains into shipped digital businesses with brand, payments, compliance, and infrastructure.

Litigation posture — the verifiable claim

Clemons Wright's most uncommon credential is that the founder has filed documents pro se across every level of the California state court system — from Los Angeles Superior Court up to the California Supreme Court — plus federal trial court (C.D. Cal.) and the Ninth Circuit. The California Supreme Court is the highest court at which he has filed. Most attorneys, even after years of practice, have not built that filing footprint. Not advising on litigation in the abstract; not consulting from a partner office; sitting in the seat, doing the work.

The procedural knowledge of how each court accepts filings — formatting, service rules, electronic-filing portals, judicial-notice procedures, motion-practice tempo, word-count certification — is built only by doing it. Some of his filings have produced wins on the record. Some have been denied. Both are listed honestly on the track record.

Three active matters as of mid-2026 — across state trial, federal appeal, and federal trial court:

MatterCourtStatus
1 · State trial — Clemons v. Pinkerton, BNSF Railway, Sequoia Consultants LASC — Stanley Mosk, Dept 30 (25STCV11123) Active · trial 2027-04-12
2 · Federal appeal (RICO) — Clemons v. BNSF Railway et al. 9th Cir. (25-6944) Active · fully briefed pro se · Limited-remand motion pending
3 · Federal civil-rights lawsuit (§ 1983) — Clemons v. San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department et al. C.D. Cal. (5:25-cv-03000) Active

Decided history (already concluded at the cited level):

MatterCourtOutcome
Clemons v. BNSF Railway et al. (RICO) — trial-court phase C.D. Cal. (5:25-cv-01404-JGB-SP) Decided at trial level — now under appeal at the 9th Cir. (active matter #2 above)
Petition for Writ of Mandate · B347751 Cal. Court of Appeal, 2d Dist., Div. 3 Denied 2025-07-24
Petition for Writ of Mandate · B349200 Cal. Court of Appeal, 2d Dist., Div. 3 Denied 2025-10-02
Sequoia Consultants' Petition for Writ of Mandate · B350299 Cal. Court of Appeal, 2d Dist., Div. 3 Defense team's writ denied 2025-12-04 (favorable to Dustin)
Petition for Review (highest filing on record) California Supreme Court Decided

For the full record — wins, denials, and pending matters — see the track record. The trial-court motion wins include a preliminary injunction granted 2025-10-23, an anti-SLAPP motion denied to the defense 2025-07-30, and a motion to withdraw deemed admissions granted 2026-05-01. The intermediate appellate denials (B347751 and B349200) are listed there as well — honesty is the credibility currency at this firm.

Pro se litigation experience is a credibility-building credential for Clemons Wright's risk-management and counsel-diligence work. It does not make Dustin a licensed attorney, and it does not turn any Clemons Wright engagement into legal advice or representation. See the disclaimers page.

Press Pulse & Global Asset Eye

Dustin's intellectual transparency is built into two publicly available infrastructure assets that clients can examine before engagement:

Press Pulse — institutional editorial channel covering AI, global markets, legal disruption, and CIO-level business commentary. Published analyses include "The Claude Supercycle," "Musk's Legal Setback: Judge Rules Against X Corp," and "The $180 Billion Legal Industry Is Being Automated." Available at blackcrystalline.com/press-pulse.html.

Global Asset Eye — free real-time market intelligence dashboard covering live indices, crypto, forex, commodities, and macro economic data. Available at blackcrystalline.com/global-asset-eye.html.

Operating philosophy

"Disciplined risk management and bold strategic vision are not opposites — they are partners." — D.L.C.

His approach is defined by:

  1. Pattern recognition across industries — 16 years of operating in five sectors means patterns others miss because they are siloed in one domain.
  2. Systematic due diligence — every business decision is preceded by rigorous analysis; the same discipline is applied to client engagements.
  3. High-conviction decision-making under uncertainty — running a hedge fund means deciding with incomplete information.
  4. Lean and resilient operations — disciplined capital allocation builds organizations that survive pressure.
  5. Compounding advantage — investment philosophy translates directly to how he advises businesses to position for sustained competitive advantage.

Scope of practice — what Dustin can and cannot do

Dustin L. Clemons can consult on virtually any operating, capital, AI, monetization, reputation, or risk question your business faces. He is not, and does not hold himself out to be, a licensed attorney, Certified Public Accountant, Professional Engineer, Registered Architect, securities-licensed financial advisor, real-estate broker, or licensed tradesperson. When a matter requires one of those professionals, he tells you. He helps you choose well — and then he sits beside you while they work, making sure your money is going where it should.

The watchdog superpower. The single most expensive mistake non-licensed clients make is hiring a licensed professional and then losing the operator's view of whether the work is being done well. Bills run; filings get deferred; audits get vague; advisors steer clients into products that pay the advisor more than the client. Across attorneys, CPAs, financial advisors, engineers, architects, brokers, and contractors — Dustin understands the work, the incentives, and the bill. He sits beside you while it happens. We receive no referral fees from any of them. Our incentive is exactly aligned with yours.

For the full table of where the law requires a license and how the firm operates around those lines, see scope of practice.

Why this firm — in his own framing

"The courthouse doesn't care if you have a lawyer. It cares whether you've thought your case through." — D.L.C.

Most management consultants have one of two profiles: studied business at a top school and advised from the outside, or worked at one major corporation and became an expert in that one vertical. Dustin is neither. He is a serial founder who has built five companies from scratch across five different industries, served as CEO, COO, CIO, and President, deployed real capital as a hedge fund CIO, operated through the full business lifecycle, and maintained 16+ years of continuous leadership — not a track record of exits, but a track record of sustained operation.

A management consulting engagement with Clemons Wright is not a theoretical exercise. It is a practitioner-led intervention delivered by someone who has made every major class of business decision — and lived with the results.
